XXL gratin Zurich, listed for Stephanie

US$650.00

This oversized copper tray or roasting pan, measuring an impressive 60×41 cm (excluding the handles), is a truly unique piece. It’s not something you come across often I have rarely seen an example of this size and character.

It bears a stamp, though it is quite faint. The only part that can be clearly identified is Zurich; the rest remains difficult to read. This suggests it was very likely made for professional use, possibly in a hotel or restaurant kitchen.

This is a very old piece estimated to be around 100 years and it shows a rich history. There are a few repairs visible, all of which have been well executed and only add to its authenticity and story. The surface carries the marks of time, giving it a depth of character that simply cannot be replicated.

The interior has been freshly re-tinned, making it fully food-safe and ready for use once again perfect for a large oven or for serving impressive dishes at the table.

A remarkable and decorative piece with real presence, equally at home in a working kitchen or as a striking display item.
