Rare roasting pan - Jules Gaillard 81 FAUBG. ST. DENIS PARIS - ca. 1890.
You usually only find the oval stamp. This early straight-line stamp is much older and much rarer, it is the first i have found so far.
The build: 3.55mm thick measured and 17.8 lbs / 8 kg heavy.
Heavy brass handles, 3 rivets per side secured attached and a flat bottom and a very light hamerend. It is freshly re-tinned and ready to cook.
A museum piece you can use every day.
